Welcome to the eighth year of JVB NJ Gyanshala – the 2011-2012 session!
Gyanshala classes begin on Sunday, October 2. Classes will be held on Sunday afternoons from 3:30PM – 6:00PM, two Sundays of each month. On a third Sunday, Gyanshala will be combined with JVB NJ Satsang program, where students will participate in Prayer Assembly, Art & Craft and Rehearsals for various JVB NJ programs.
Each two and half hour class will feature four mandatory subsections:
Prayer Assembly (30 minutes)
Jainism (40 minutes)
Science of Living (Yoga/Meditation/Bhajan) (40 minutes)
Hindi/Gujarati Language (40 minutes)
The venue remains the same – The school building at First Presbyterian Church, 1295 Oak Tree Road, Iselin, NJ 08830.
The 2011-12 calendar for classes is as follows. The first Satsang will be on Oct 2. Other Satsang dates will be announced shortly.
October 2011: 2 (Satsang), 9, and 16
November: 6 and 20
December: 4 and 18
January 2012: 8 and 27
February: 12 and 26
March: 11 and 25
April: 15 and 29
May: 13 and 20 (Final Exam)
June: 3 (Annual Day)
